Dallas Lamaze Classes with Whitney Patterson
We are so proud of Whitney! She has been a doula with Great Expectations Birth since early 2016 and teaches our Prepared Childbirth Classes. Whitney recently took the extra step to become a certified Lamaze instructor. She completed a lot of assignments, studied and then sat for the exam. Now the results are in – Whitney passed with flying colors (as we all knew she would) and is officially a Certified Lamaze Instructor. We are so proud of her and thrilled to have her as part of the team at Great Expectations! We are also excited about having Dallas Lamaze classes available for expecting families.

Whitney is also a licensed Labor and Delivery nurse so you will love learning the ins and out about having a baby from a woman who has helped hundreds (thousands?) of woman give birth. Whitney is also available for doula services.
What to Expect in the Lamaze Class?
Regardless if your looking for a natural or medicated birth, we want you to feel confident and informed…and also excited. Our two day class will give you the insider’s perspective on what to expect and how to prepare for your birth. Whitney will share with you not just the information you need to know but her experiences attending births in hospital along with the evidence based information you can use to make informed decisions throughout your pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum and beyond.
Class is held from 1-4 PM on two consecutive Sunday afternoons at The Nest Addison. You can register for classes on our website. The cost of the class is $150 and includes a full color book for you to keep. We look forward to seeing you in class!
